SUMMARY OF DUTIES * Maintaining and repairing (or arranging for the repair of shop floor machines. * Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machine breakdowns. * Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations. * Participating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines. * Follow up with contractors/suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and received on a timely basis. * Prioritizing work schedule to ensure minimal disruption to production. * Maintaining and repairing physical plant structure. * Health and Safety enhancements to the machines and plant. * 5-S Activities which include health & safety awareness/initiatives. * Adherence at all times to all Company policies and procedures. * Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation. * Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area. * Performing other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum Gr. 12 diploma and Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright. * Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright, with experience maintaining and repairing CNC and conventional machinery. * Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment. * Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * The ability to wear the required PPE. * Candidates must meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives. * Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and tools as required This posting is due to a current opening.
