Job summary

Key Responsibilities Perform electrical engineering studies, calculations, and design activities for nuclear facility upgrades and modifications. Develop and review electrical design packages, specifications, drawings, and technical reports. Support refurbishment, life extension, and plant modification projects. Design and assess power distribution, instrumentation, control, and electrical equipment systems. Participate in field walkdowns, site investigations, and engineering assessments. Support equipment replacement, system upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and commissioning teams. Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear, electrical, and industry standards. Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities. ​ Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry. Experience supporting nuclear refurbishment, modification, or capital projects. Knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment design, and engineering calculations. Experience preparing technical documentation and design deliverables. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments Assets Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is a strong asset. Experience supporting Bruce Power, Pickering, Darlington, OPG, or other nuclear generating stations. Familiarity with Canadian nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements
