Our services include boat and engine repairs, docking, winter storage, water taxi services, and watercraft rentals. Yard and Service Support Technician/Marina Support Technician What we offer: A supportive environment to learn and grow your skills. A competitive compensation package. Workdays spent outdoors, close to and on the water. Your responsibilities will include: Assists with keeping the marina safe and clean. Delivering boats to customers. Assist customers with renting of watercraft. Assist in completing paperwork. Assist with other general duties as required. Assist with basic cleaning and simple maintenance to keep boats in good shape. Prepare boats for relocation by setting up equipment. Prepare boats for transportation. Move and position boats safely as needed to support daily yard and service work. Assisting with boat serving duties (e.g. repair, maintenance, pumps) depending on skill level and experience. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities: Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently and effectively. Well organised and able to work accurately and effectively under pressure. Understands how to engage with customers in a customer centric way. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work constructively both independently and in a team environment. Enjoys working as part of a team. Takes pride in doing a good job and ensures follow through on all duties. Puts in a consistent effort producing quality work. Willing to pitch in with any task that comes up to help keep the yard and service operations running smoothly. Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. Able to assist with physical work with the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Qualifications: Possesses a valid and up to date driver’s license (G license and clean driver’s abstract required). Previous experience working with boat or small engine repair and maintenance is considered an asset. Knowledgeable, or eager to learn, about the Marine industry. Positive attitude.
