ROLE The Medical Laboratory Technologist performs both routine and advanced test procedures, as necessary, for the efficient functioning of his/her area of assignment. The Medical Laboratory Technologist performs routine and advanced test procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of the laboratory. They are also responsible for mentoring and directing the work of Medical Laboratory Assistants.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program and hold or be eligible for CMLTO registration. At least two years of recent technical experience in a core lab is preferred.
