Company Description IBEX Global Inspections Inc. is a Canadian independent inspection company specializing in commodity inspection, cargo inspection, sampling, and related inspection services for agricultural commodities and internationally traded goods. IBEX is currently developing its operations and pursuing ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation as an inspection body. Job Description This is a casual position (approximately 4–24 hours per week) responsible for supporting commodity inspection and sampling activities. Duties may include collecting and transporting samples, sample preparation, sample identification and logging, inspection activities, data entry, equipment checks, documentation, and preparation of inspection reports. Responsibilities include: Receive, identify, log, organize, store, distribute, and appropriately dispose of samples in accordance with IBEX procedures. Collect representative samples of grains, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, milled products, and other commodities. Prepare grain and commodity samples for inspection, grading, or submission to approved laboratories. Clean grain samples using appropriate sieves, dockage equipment, and other approved methods where applicable. Pick up and deliver samples between terminals, warehouses, client locations, IBEX facilities, and approved laboratories. Operate and maintain inspection and sampling equipment in accordance with established procedures. Perform required equipment checks and ensure applicable measuring equipment is appropriately calibrated or verified before use. Conduct permitted field or inspection-related measurements and observations within the employee's authorized scope. Prepare, label, seal, document, and transfer samples while maintaining proper chain of custody. Record inspection observations, measurements, photographs, sample information, and other required data accurately. Complete sample logs, inspection forms, checklists, and related documentation. Enter inspection and sampling information into IBEX's record-management systems. Maintain and monitor inspection and sampling supplies, including sample bags, seals, labels, gloves, protective equipment, and other materials. Maintain clean and organized work areas and inspection equipment. Follow applicable requirements of the Canada Grain Act, Canada Grain Regulations, Canadian Grain Commission (CGC), Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and other applicable regulatory requirements where relevant to the assigned work. Follow IBEX Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sampling procedures, quality-management requirements, health and safety requirements, and client-specific instructions. Assist with cargo inspections, commodity inspections, loading/discharge inspections, container inspections, warehouse inspections, and other inspection activities as assigned. Assist with preparation of preliminary and final inspection reports. Submit samples requiring laboratory analysis to approved external laboratories, including ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories where required. Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, independence, and professional conduct throughout all inspection activities. Perform other inspection, sampling, documentation, and operational duties as required. Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in agriculture, grain handling, commodity inspection, sampling, laboratory work, logistics, terminals, or a related environment is considered an asset. Knowledge of grains, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, or agricultural commodities is considered an asset. Previous experience with sampling and/or grain grading is considered an asset. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and work instructions accurately and safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer-based systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a professional and time-sensitive environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Availability for occasional extended hours, evenings, weekends, or shift work depending on inspection schedules. Ability and willingness to travel to client sites, terminals, warehouses, ports, laboratories, and other inspection locations. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's licence. Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; 1–3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of agricultural commodities or sampling are assets. Candidates must be able to follow procedures, document accurately, use common Microsoft applications, hold a valid driver's licence, and travel to inspection sites.
