This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Leduc, AB THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a 1st or 2nd year Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck Technician for our Leduc facility, who is responsible for performing minor maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adhering to the work assigned to them by the on floor supervisor. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems * Install new or replacement parts according to specifications * Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations * Assure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements and/or modifications to the truck or other assigned vehicle * Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available WHAT WE LOOK FOR The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of * A High school diploma * A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Certification with Heavy Truck experience * Minimum 1 year training in a Heavy-Duty Truck fleet or shop environment ABOUT INLAND Inland Truck & Equipment is an industry leader in the heavy-duty truck and equipment sales, service, and parts marketplace.
