THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic for our Leduc location, who is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adheering to the work assigned to them. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform quality work without direct supervision and overseeing the work of the apprentice assigned to them * Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems * Install new or replacement parts according to specifications * Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations * Assure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements and/or modifications to the truck or other assigned vehicle * Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available WHAT WE LOOK FOR The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of * A High school diploma * A Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with heavy truck experience * Preferred Heavy Duty Truck dealership experience * Experience in Dyno operation/troubleshooting and Cummins training would be an asset CANADA BENEFIT PACKAGE Our employees receive a generous benefits package including: * Extended Medical (including Vision) * Dental * RRSP * Paid Time Off * On-going training opportunities * Annual Tool and Boot allowances Are you ready to go ALL IN on a career at Inland?
