Position Summary: Cleans, diagnoses, repairs and re-manufactures chemical and beverage equipment to meet quality standards. What We Offer The hourly wage range for this position is $21.67 - $28.00 Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment FULL flex benefits program Company matching RRSP Family culture Advancement opportunities Profit Sharing Essential Functions: Rebuilds chemical and beverage equipment according to standards. Cleans, delimes and re-grains equipment to meet standards listed on quality control sheet. Tests / diagnoses chemical and beverage equipment to validate proper performance. Provides function checks and polishing of equipment according to quality control sheet. Maintains proper inventory of parts in service center and performs inventory counts four times a year. Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times. Utilizes Gordon Food Service (GFS) assets appropriately Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Must be self-motivated, a team player, have a positive attitude with good work ethics, takes pride in own work, and have good time management skills and good mechanical aptitude. Must have thorough understanding of all products, equipment, and tools required to complete tasks required of the position Adheres to safety precautions. Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Must be able to properly use dollies and other safety equipment to aid in the lifting and carrying of 70 pounds or more. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
