Job summary

Millwright, Timmins, Ontario Interfor is looking for skilled, safety‑focused, and motivated Industrial Millwrights to join our team in Timmins. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our mill running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing industrial equipment across the operation. This position offers competitive compensation at $42.81 per hour and a Monday to Thursday, nights, afternoons and days rotation with 10-hour shifts. What You'll Do Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding); Identify the cause of machinery breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs; Install/optimize/adjust all the equipment in the mill to maximize its efficiency; Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations; Operate machining tools to manufacture parts. What You Offer Red Seal Millwright or Planer Technician certification required. Strong safety background. Sawmill/planer experience an asset. Good technical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills. Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
