We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This role supports the day-to-day operation of our production facility by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure the plant runs safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience working in a production or food processing environment, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Support the Maintenance and Production departments with the day-to-day functionality of equipment and production lines. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, belts, conveyors, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment. Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the production plant. Follow daily and periodic maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and facility needs are completed on time. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime. Follow all occupational health and safety and food safety guidelines. Wear required personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices. Promote a safe work environment and report unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a processing, CPG, food production, or similar industrial environment. 3+ years of experience working in a food production facility or similar setting preferred. Experience working with multi-meters, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. Experience troubleshooting PLCs is an asset. Industrial Mechanic Millwright Trade Certification, Trade Code 433A, required. What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
