We're looking for an experienced Tire Technician who is ambitious and interested in building a long-term career as a mechanic. This position offers the opportunity to develop mechanical skills while working alongside experienced certified technicians in a busy shop environment. What You'll Do Mount, balance, repair, and replace passenger, light truck, commercial truck, and equipment tires. Perform tire inspections and identify wear, damage, and safety concerns. Complete seasonal tire changeovers and fleet tire maintenance. Assist technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Learn diagnostic and repair procedures through hands-on training. Maintain accurate work orders and shop documentation. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Support shop operations and customer service as required. Requirements Previous tire industry experience is required. Experience with passenger, light truck, commercial truck, or off-road equipment tires. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Interest in pursuing a career as an Automotive, Commercial Transport, or Heavy Duty Mechanic. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. Valid Class 5 driver's license. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused. Assets Experience operating tire service equipment. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) experience. Wheel alignment experience. Mechanical experience beyond tire service. Apprenticeship experience or trade school training. What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment. What you’ll do
Perform mounting, balancing, and repair of tires for passenger, commercial, and heavy equipment vehicles. Assist certified technicians with general vehicle maintenance and repairs while maintaining a clean and safe shop environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in the tire industry and a valid Class 5 driver's license are required. Candidates must possess mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to pursue a career as a certified mechanic.
