The Senior Engineer, Facilities undertakes project management of capital projects, maintenance, rehabilitation, and service activities related to multidisciplinary assignments, while specializing in civil, structural, architectural, and site infrastructure assets. The Senior Engineer executes an assigned portion of the Capital Program and Facilities Expense Program. They support the business as a subject matter expert and provide technical support and direction in their area of responsibility. They also provide mentorship to junior and intermediate technical staff. Responsibilities include the planning, design, construction, rehabilitation, and lifecycle management of buildings, waterfront infrastructure, foundations, roads, laydown areas, utilities, stormwater systems, and associated site infrastructure. Exigences
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and professional registration with Engineers Nova Scotia. Candidates must have 8-10+ years of experience in industrial or heavy civil construction and meet Canadian security clearance requirements.
