Reference Number: 31930 Jardeg is currently recruiting a Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson to join Technical Workforce Inc. at our Bonnyville, AB shop! This is an opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time position with consistent year-round work. Responsibilities Hands on maintenance and repairs of all civil construction and automotive fleet equipment, including dozers, articulated trucks, excavators, service vehicles, etc. Running repairs and maintenance work. Replacing components. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults. Preventive maintenance and services. Complete work according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel. Interpret work orders and technical manuals. Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained. Diagnose faults or malfunctions. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations. Complete service reports. Ability to understand hydraulic and electronic schematics. Minimum Requirements Provincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in Heavy Equipment Technician trade Minimum 3–5 years of experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment in a field or a yard Strong interest in automotive equipment maintenance is highly valued, as the majority of workflow consists of supporting automotive fleet Field experience is considered an asset Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safe work practices and job site protocols Valid Class 5 Driver's License Reliable transportation to get to work COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!
