Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Worker/HVAC Installer Foreman/Supervisor to lead and oversee HVAC installation projects. This role involves managing installation teams, ensuring project quality, and maintaining adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in sheet metal work, HVAC systems, and construction management, along with proven supervisory experience. This position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects while ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation and sheet metal work on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installation processes
- Manage daily operations of installation crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout all phases of construction
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and other industry tools to track progress, document issues, and communicate effectively with team members
- Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment usage
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues promptly
- Implement construction estimating practices to assist in project planning and resource allocation
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising HVAC or sheet metal installation projects in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and other relevant tools
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality control
- Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC or sheet metal work are preferred but not mandatory
Pay: $47.00-$50.00 per hour
