Role Overview

We are hiring a professional Automotive Route Delivery Driver responsible for a structured daily B2B route across the Okanagan.

This role is built for experienced people who already understand:

  • automotive shops
  • dealership operations
  • structured business delivery routes

You will also be responsible for repairing and restoring equipment functionality as part of the route.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operate a company cargo van on a structured daily B2B route
  • Deliver and pick up automotive products, and equipment
  • Work directly with dealership and shop personnel (technicians, service advisors, parts teams)
  • Provide strong, consistent customer service at every stop
  • Manage inventory accuracy and stock control on route
  • Diagnose, repair, and fully restore equipment functionality in the warehouse or on-site
  • Ensure equipment is operational before leaving customer locations
  • Complete accurate mobile/tablet reporting (deliveries, inventory, repairs)
  • Maintain long-term professional relationships across assigned accounts

Ideal Candidate Profile (We Hire From These Backgrounds)

1) Automotive dealership / shop experience

  • Dealership parts drivers
  • Parts counter staff
  • Service advisors / service department support
  • Automotive shop support staff

2) Mechanical / hands-on repair background

  • Automotive technicians or apprentices
  • Lube, tire, or quick service technicians
  • Heavy duty / industrial or equipment repair workers
  • Field service technicians

3) Proven B2B route delivery experience (VERY STRONG FIT)

  • Experienced cargo van B2B delivery drivers (automotive or industrial accounts preferred)
  • Dealership parts delivery drivers
  • Structured route drivers serving business customers
  • Commercial delivery drivers in shop/dealership environments

Best candidates already understand route discipline + shop culture + customer interaction

This Role Is NOT For

  • General labour or warehouse-only applicants
  • Uber, DoorDash, or gig-style drivers
  • Office or remote candidates
  • Pure delivery drivers with no shop or repair exposure
  • Candidates unable to perform hands-on equipment repair

Requirements

  • Must live in the Kelowna / Okanagan region
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Proven automotive shop, dealership, mechanical repair, or B2B route delivery experience
  • Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing inventory responsibilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to park company Cargo van at your home
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent
  • Comfortable using mobile/tablet systems daily
