Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: 10+ Hours per day, 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB We Offer: Tool/Boot Allowance Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching Specialty Dealer Training Provided with Certification 38 Bay State of the Art Shop with dedicated Engine, Transmission and Machining Bays Specific Manufacturer Tooling with Software and Diagnostics Sureway is a Repair Facility, not a component exchange shop; providing our technicians with a sense of ownership The Sureway Shop is under New Management – Effective September 1, 2026 Requirements: Full Complement of Hand Tools Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Valid Driver’s License Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fitness to Work Assessment Shop Foreman – Heavy Equipment Technician - Shop Qualifications: Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road Must have between (5) and (10) years' Journeyperson experience Must have (5) years of previous supervisory experience Off Road experience is REQUIRED Must be proficient with CAT E.T., S.I.S., Komatsu, Prosis and Service Advisor Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics Must be open to new learning experiences Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED Shop Foreman – Heavy Equipment Technician - Shop Responsibilities: Oversee, supervise and manage the day to day operations in our heavy equipment shop Supervisions of H.E.T.’s to ensure schedules and timelines are met Assist H.E.T.’s with troubleshooting Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure Follow up on parts orders Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position Sureway Construction Group adheres to employment equity and equal opportunity programs. Requirements

Candidates must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with a Red Seal and at least 5 years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in diagnostic software and the ability to interpret complex technical schematics are mandatory.
