This co-op placement is for students in a biomedical engineering technologist program and is highly practical. During the placement, students will assist with the technical support of medical devices. Duties Performing preventive maintenance Repairing and maintaining devices Providing a variety of service support to BME staff to ensure the highest possible reliability and performance of systems Performing quality assurance on devices Performing incoming inspections Helping to organize service and quality assurance records Completing other non-technical tasks as assigned by the BME Manager Qualifications Current Student in a Biomedical Engineering Technologist program Current Students in a Biomedical Engineering Technologist co-op program are preferred.
