We’re seeking an EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL ENGINEER to support our Mining & Metals team. In this role, you will contribute to mechanical design, equipment selection, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination. About The Role Develop technical requisitions, datasheets, specifications, and scope of supply documents for mechanical equipment packages. Participate in technical bid evaluations and provide recommendations for equipment selection. Coordinate with equipment vendors throughout the procurement lifecycle, including clarification requests, design reviews, and document submissions. Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manuals, and technical documentation. Support package management activities, ensuring equipment delivery aligns with project schedules and quality requirements. Collaborate with process, piping, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to ensure integrated project execution. Monitor package engineering progress and identify technical risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies. Participate in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), inspections, and commissioning support activities as required. Assist with equipment layout development and constructability reviews. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes. About You Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. From 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering. Experience in mining and mineral processing projects within consulting, vendor, or owner organizations. Knowledge of CAD, SmartPlant, 3D design tools and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with ASME codes and industry standards. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience in mining and mineral processing projects. Proficiency in CAD, SmartPlant, and familiarity with ASME codes are required.
