The Service Technician is responsible for assessing, maintaining, and repairing hockey equipment, including skate sharpening and gear repairs. They also provide expert advice to customers and ensure all shop equipment and service areas are properly maintained.
What You'll Do; As a Service Technician at Team Town Sports, you will be the expert on assessing and provide recommendations on maintenance and servicing of our customers’ equipment. You will provide advice and problem solve equipment needs, and then set up and repair. Complete Hockey equipment repairs including skate sharpening, profiling, holder and runner installation, and gear repairs. Maintain all shop equipment and service area. Provide appropriate quotes for services provided. Ensure all required documentation is complete and signed prior to releasing equipment to the customer. Stay up to date on new equipment and fitting and maintenance techniques. What You'll Bring; You are a passionate and knowledgeable about the sports we play in and the equipment we carry. Previous customer service experience is an asset. Previous Service Shop experience is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust. Positive work attitude.
