Reporting to the General Foreman, the Assembly Technician applies their experience and passion for precision manufacturing to take projects from blueprint to reality. What you will do: * Disassembly and assembly of hydraulic cylinders and swivels * Troubleshooting * Safety testing * Complete projects carefully, without unnecessarily wasting material and/or resources * Process improvement * Produce high quality parts on schedule * Perform weekly maintenance and cleaning * Ensure equipment is properly maintained through submission of Maintenance Request Forms to the Maintenance Department * Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times * Practice safety in the work place at all times to ensure he or she does not endanger oneself * Comply with all safety rules and practices as set by Occupational Health and Safety, WBM and any and all other relevant safety regulations and requirements * Daily pre-shift inspections on any and all equipment that will be used during the shift and inspection results will be recorded in log book * Will regularly check all work tools and equipment and shall take out of service any tool or equipment that poses a hazard due to a need for repairs. * Perform other duties as required Sound Familiar? * A minimum of 3 years of related experience * In-depth knowledge of all tools and equipment in steel fabrication and welding operations * In-depth knowledge of safety practices * Overhead Crane Experience is an asset * Trades ticket/Red Seal is an asset * Communication skills to read, write, listen, and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels * Interpersonal skills work collaboratively and cooperatively with others * Time management skills to productively complete work and meet all expected deadlines * Organizational skills to plan out and coordinate his or her work in a logical manner * Analytical skills to identify problems and find a solution, or seek advice from the supervisor * Problem solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems * Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination skills Bonus Round! Exigences

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience and in-depth knowledge of steel fabrication and welding tools. A trades ticket or Red Seal certification is considered an asset for this role.
