Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Supervisor, Energy and Infrastructure, you will be part of the Energy & Infrastructure Department. You wiill ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Responsible for the operation and maintenance for the ventilation raise(s) on site; Log all information on work performed, operation of burners and all other components of the system; Test run all burners at the ventilation raise at least 3 times a week, to ensure all systems are operational and ready for usage should the need require; Upkeep of all boilers on site along with varying furnaces; Responsible for the indirect heater permitting on site; Understand and follow the laws and regulations regarding the proper installation and upkeep of the heaters that are installed interior and exterior of buildings along with ensuring each heater is set with a fire extinguisher, containment, permit etc.. to stay in line with the building fire codes; Each summer, review the annual overhaul of all indirect heater units on site as a top priority so that the site and the team enter the winter season in a successful manner and are able to keep up with the demand; Track all PMs that are completed or not completed as well as why the PM could not be completed if that is the case; Daily monitoring of the incinerator, and to advise of any components that need to be addressed; Document all work conducted beyond the scheduled material by work order creation, parts ordering etc. in JDEdwards; Familiar with Reliable Controls, Wonderware and Local HMI and able to complete daily inspections on the systems; Provide easily explained notes to your cross shift as to what was or wasn’t done at the end of your rotation. What You Need To Succeed Qualified Oil Burner Technician with OBT1 or Red Seal ticket; Maintenance and operation on oil-fired equipment up to 71 GPH; Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems; 2- 5 years of experience in the mechanical field; Mining experience is considered an asset. Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

Requires a qualified Oil Burner Technician with an OBT1 or Red Seal ticket and 2-5 years of mechanical experience. Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems and oil-fired equipment up to 71 GPH is necessary.
