Quality Technician – Night Shift Position Summary Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Technician is responsible for conducting incoming, outgoing, and first-off inspections, performing failure analysis, and providing quality support for issues on production lines. The Quality Technician will also support quality system activities and continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with customer and company requirements. Primary Responsibilities Inspect components and assemblies and conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings, and IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System requirements. Support Quality Department activities, including PPAP, failure analysis, corrective actions, and related quality documentation. Perform incoming, outgoing, and first-off inspections in accordance with established procedures and specifications. Maintain the calibration of inspection instruments and gauges and ensure accurate and up-to-date quality records. Support verification and testing in accordance with engineering specifications to resolve quality issues on production lines. Conduct failure analysis of components, assemblies, and production issues and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement activities. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Required Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technician program. 2–3 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Experience inspecting electronic components and assemblies. Hands-on experience using a variety of measuring instruments and gauges, including calibration and verification activities. Working knowledge of electronic components and assemblies. Soldering experience; IPC training/certification is an asset. Working knowledge and experience with IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management Systems; IATF 16949 certification is an asset. Experience conducting failure analysis and troubleshooting quality issues identified during production and inspection. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Schedule Night shift 11:30 pm – 7:30 am Flexible scheduling may be required based on business and production needs. Requirements

Candidates must hold a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or Technician program with 2-3 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, using measuring instruments, and knowledge of IATF 16949 quality systems is required.
