This shop has several areas of focus and is currently looking to add to their team of experienced Journeyperson Ag mechanics. Certification in other related fields + experience in shop and on the road may be considered. Shift may rotate and include days/evenings/weekends/modified work week. Responsibilities Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and complete complex repairs Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealership Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs to further develop skills and technical capabilities Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively Requirements 3+ years’ experience performing agricultural equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, construction, or related complex mechanical repairs Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and powertrain components Ability to use diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and basic computer functions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and contribute within a team environment Commitment to professional development and ongoing technical training Experience with John Deere and competitive products is a definite asset Candidates ideally will possess a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (i.e. Heavy Equipment, Automotive) CONNECT with us today!
