We're hiring a Licensed Truck Technician for a well-established national transportation company backed by a major rail and logistics group — serious stability, without the cold corporate feel. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟱-𝟮𝟬+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: ✅ 4-day work week — Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM. Every Friday off, no exceptions. ✅ $35–$40/hour + shift premium ✅ $500/year tool allowance + $300/year boot allowance ✅ RRSP matching + employer-paid health & dental ✅ Up to 10 paid sick days + 3 personal days ✅ Course reimbursement, mentorship pathways to lead-hand, and forklift/First Aid certs provided if you don't already have them ✅ Relocation assistance considered for the right person 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴: 🔩 Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs across engines, drivetrains, braking, and auxiliary systems on a diverse heavy-duty fleet 🔩 Scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections to OEM standards 🔩 Managing audit-ready work orders, parts verification, and warranty documentation 🔩 Mentoring apprentices and junior technicians 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 🎓 CVIP licence in Manitoba (ability to sign commercial vehicle safeties — non-negotiable) 🎓 Red Seal Transport Truck Technician certification or equivalent inter-provincial certification 🎓 Valid Driver's Licence with Air Brake certification 🎓 3-7 years of in-shop heavy-duty truck maintenance experience preferred 🎓 JPRO diagnostic software experience a bonus This shop is technology-driven, the fleet is diverse, and leadership genuinely invests in the people on the floor. What you’ll do

Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on a diverse heavy-duty fleet including engines, drivetrains, and braking systems. Manage preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.

Requirements

Must possess a Red Seal Transport Truck Technician certification and a valid CVIP license in Manitoba. Requires a valid driver's license with air brake certification and preferably 3-7 years of in-shop experience.
