Agriculture Equipment Mechanic (Service Technician) At KNM Sales & Service Job Post Summary Date posted: August 27, 2026 Pay: CA$28.00 - CA$45.00 per hour Job Description To fulfill KNM Sales & Service's vision "Where Service Comes First" we are looking for a Full-Time Service Technician to join our fast-past, energetic dealership located in Barrhead, AB This Position will install: Performing basic diagnostics, service repairs & maintenance work on customer and/or Dealer owned Agricultural and turf equipment. Under the direction of the service manager, this position will deliver quality service work, exceptional customer service and be a part of one of Canada's top Versatile, Cummins, McCormick, Kioti, Farm King, Vermeer, Salford, Kuhn plus other agricultural equipment dealer organizations. Responsibilities Inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship Applying the use of specialized tools, cutting edge technology and innovative solution, to diagnose and complete complex repairs Performing preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards, on equipment and related components Maintaining current knowledge of Versatile, Cummins, McCormick, Kioti, Farm King, Vermeer, Salford, Kuhn agriculture products The ability to use diagnostic tools basic functions Participate in Ag equipment training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities requirements 5 Years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance Candidates ideally will possess a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (i.e. Heavy Equipment, Automotive) We may consider a 3rd of 4th year Apprenticeship candidate. We will also consider a new Apprenticeship candidate. Knowledge and familiarity with Versatile, Cummins, McCormick, Kioti, Farm King, Vermeer, Salford, Kuhn agriculture products and competitive products are a definite asset! Why join us?
