Advise and counsel patients while providing nutrition services in a diet office. Work independently and collaboratively, applying strong customer service, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Qualifications Graduate or enrolled in a Dietitians of Canada recognized two year Community College Program in Food & Nutrition Management or a four year Nutrition Undergraduate Degree. Previous experience as a Dietetic Technician preferred. Computer experience required ¿ Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, familiarity with diet office software preferred. Working knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ability to effectively advise and counsel patients with a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills ? both oral and written. Proven ability to work with minimum supervision. Good organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent attention to detail.
