Electrical Engineering Expert Position: Electrical Engineering Expert Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $70–$80/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity This opportunity is for experienced electrical engineering professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI evaluation projects. The role involves applying enterprise-level electrical engineering expertise to design real-world engineering scenarios, create reference solutions, and evaluate AI-generated outputs used to improve next-generation AI systems. Ideal Candidates • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Engineering Lead in technology, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or related sectors. • Experience working on power systems, circuit design, embedded systems, semiconductor design, PCB development, or control systems engineering. • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards including IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70, NESC, UL, or FCC requirements. • Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and enterprise PLM/EDA platforms. • Excellent analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. • PE, CEng, EUR ING, or equivalent professional credentials are a plus. Key Responsibilities • Develop enterprise electrical engineering scenarios based on real-world product design, power systems, and certification workflows. • Create reference engineering analyses, technical specifications, and executive-level engineering documentation. • Evaluate AI-generated engineering outputs for accuracy, reasoning, compliance, and technical quality. • Design grading rubrics that measure professional-level electrical engineering judgment and decision-making. • Apply industry methodologies including circuit analysis, EMC/EMI compliance, reliability engineering, and control systems principles. • Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistency, quality, and technical rigor across deliverables.
