Electronics Technician – Workshop Work location: Val-d’Or – On-site Schedule: 5/2 or 4/3 – 40 hours per week The Electronics Technician is responsible for assembling, programming, testing, and repairing various electronic and communication systems and equipment. Main Responsibilities And Duties Assemble, repair, program, and test equipment and systems; Follow established priorities, work plans, and deadlines; Perform various tests, analyses, and corrective actions to ensure that equipment meets Epiroc’s quality requirements and established standards; Diagnose and identify the source of problems affecting all types of electronic equipment; Participate in and recommend improvement initiatives to help achieve operational objectives; Comply with all health and safety procedures and standards. Qualifications Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, such as Programmable Electronics or Radio Communication Technology, or any equivalent combination of education and experience; One to three years of experience in electronics or communication systems; Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and problem-solving skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish priorities; Knowledge of the mining industry is considered an asset; Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is considered an asset. Requirements
