As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in: * Co-ordination and execution of field work associated with our services (including exposure to other disciplines); * Preparation of technical reports; * Communication with clients and other EnVision team members to assist with the development and execution of work; * Assisting in proposal preparation; * Ensuring high quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables; * Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement; * Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment; * Supporting Health and Safety programs and initiatives; * Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects; * Travelling to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed; and, * Any other functions assigned as part of your employment. To apply to this position, you should expect to have: * An undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Engineering or a related discipline or technology/technician diploma * Knowledge of earth science, geology, hydrogeology, and environmental chemistry * Eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO), or Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) would be an asset * A valid G license, vehicle, and appropriate insurance * Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers * Ability to progress towards working independently with minimal supervision * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues * Ability to work outdoors, in all seasons and weather * Ability to up lift up to 50lbs Why EnVision? * Competitive compensation and employer paid benefits * Employer matching program * Opportunities for growth and mentorship * Positive work environment and culture, including social events and training sessions covering a wide variety of topics for the entire team * Employee Assistance program * Flexible work arrangements and schedules * Be part of a fast-growing professional services company The salary for this position will be commensurate with the years of relevant experience and qualifications that the successful candidate brings to the role.
