The Field Service Technician will commission, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on Foremost equipment at various global customer sites. They will also provide technical training to operators and support manufacturing assembly and testing initiatives.
Foremost have an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician (HET)reporting into our Field Service Technician (HET) Supervisor . The successful candidate will be based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta, and will be required to travel on an as-needed basis to various locations around the world to service Foremost equipment Responsibilities: * Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, low voltage electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems * Perform preventive maintenance, warranty work and corrective repairs * Troubleshoot electronic control networks, wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems * Train operators and maintenance personnel. * Apply your technical expertise in our manufacturing facility, supporting equipment assembly, testing, commissioning, and continuous product improvement initiatives. * Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations * Travel throughout Canada and internationally to support customers Qualifications : * Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification * Strong troubleshooting and advanced electrical diagnostic skills * Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and technical schematics * Excellente communication and customer service skills * Valid Class 5 Driver License and Valid Canadian Passport * Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and electronic assembly or repair.
