We're looking for a Junior Hardware Engineering Technician to join our growing team in McBride, British Columbia. This role is intentionally designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers who are eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow alongside an innovative company. Whether your experience comes from university projects, capstone work, co-op placements, internships, or hands-on personal projects, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of hardware development activities, including: ✅ PCB testing and validation using industry-standard lab equipment ✅ Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, updates, and revision tracking ✅ Prototype build coordination and manufacturing support ✅ PCB layout and design reviews ✅ Component selection, research, and documentation ✅ Collaboration with PCB vendors and manufacturing partners ✅ Maintaining engineering records and test documentation This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills across the entire product development cycle while receiving mentorship from a knowledgeable engineering team. What We're Looking For Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field Ability to read schematics and electronic documentation Familiarity with electronic components and datasheets Experience using lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies through school, co-op programs, internships, or personal projects Strong organizational and communication skills A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn Nice to Have Exposure to PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle Understanding of PCB manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles Experience with BOM management or ERP/PLM systems Soldering or electronics assembly experience Why Join Us?
