Winnipeg, MB Principal Electrical Engineer About The Position Assessing and evaluating existing electrical systems. Leading the design of electrical building systems for renovation and new build projects. Collaborating with design team and mentor design staff to produce schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget. Overseeing development of design concepts and ensuring proper application and execution. Conducting site surveys, gathering critical field data and performing condition assessments. Maintaining and expanding current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to applicable projects and continually strengthening skills. Maintaining relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities. Develop and maintain design practices and standards for a new electrical department. A working knowledge of Revit MEP for the production of drawings is preferred. (Training will be provided as required.) Strong design skills, motivated by a collaborative environment.

Requirements
