Location: Mississauga, ON (onsite) Salary Range: $43.75 per hour Vacancy Type: Existing position As our next Rigging Millwright, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting machinery relocations, equipment installations, and plant infrastructure projects. Your expertise in rigging, heavy equipment movement, and industrial maintenance will be critical in ensuring machinery is safely moved, installed, aligned, and maintained while supporting operational efficiency and workplace safety. What You’ll Be Doing: • Plan and execute machinery moves throughout the facility • Inspect and prepare loads for safe transportation and installation • Set, align, and level heavy machinery and industrial equipment • Select and prepare appropriate rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, bolts, and lifting devices • Inspect rigging systems before and after use to ensure safe operation • Monitor, maintain, and properly store rigging equipment • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment to maneuver loads safely • Support equipment installations, relocations, and maintenance projects • Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements and rigging procedures • Communicate effectively with maintenance, rigging, construction, and operations teams during projects • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For: • High school diploma or GED • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a rigger or rigging millwright in an industrial environment • Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting devices, and heavy machinery movement • Understanding of workplace safety standards and safe lifting practices • Ability to read and follow rigging plans and work instructions • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and handle physically demanding tasks Bonus Points If You Have: • Hoisting & Rigging Certification from a recognized provider • Forklift certification • Overhead crane certification • Millwright or industrial maintenance experience • Experience supporting plant equipment installations and capital projects • Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com — We can’t wait to meet you!
