The Group operates in Europe, Africa and Asia and has more than 1400 enthusiastic employees.Summary The technician provides effective & efficient technical interventions on products, equipment and systems used in the field operation, and under own scope of responsibility, in order to provide optimum satisfaction to the customers according to BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements. What will be your responsibilities? Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals - repair processes of the BIA DOS To ensure continuous equipment functionality, maximum utilization, and availability; to complete preventive & curative maintenance as per instructions and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) standards Follow planning instructions and respect reporting requirements. Represent Bia’s values on the field. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled maintenance operations in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations. Carry out oil changes, filter replacements, fluid level checks, and lubrication activities. Inspect the overall condition of equipment and machinery. Corrective Maintenance Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults. Repair or replace defective components. Conduct functional testing following repairs. Provide on-site breakdown support and troubleshooting when required. Inspection and Diagnostics Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions. Prepare intervention reports, maintenance recommendations, and update the planning board (PRiSM). Monitor and follow up on customer fleet performance and maintenance status. Spare Parts Management Identify spare parts required for repairs and maintenance activities. Inform the warehouse/store department of procurement needs. Contribute to the effective management of technical inventory and spare parts stock. Integrity: Ensure conservation of the environment in the broadest sense Know and comply with the group's General HSE procedures and HSE policy Identify, record and report any issue relating to health, safety and the environment Initiate, provide and recommend solutions through defined reporting channels Attend all HSE events that are compulsory or on request of HSE Management Stop working, use the right to withdraw and interrupt any activity in the event of serious and imminent danger Ask for help if any doubt on HSE issues Ensure suitable wearing and maintenance of PPE Always adopt a rational and reasonable attitude and act in a responsible manner Who are we looking for? Technical Certificate, Vocational Diploma, or Higher National Diploma (HND)/BTS in Construction Equipment Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance of construction equipment and/or industrial machinery. Driving licences B(required) C(preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Use of diagnostic equipment and software. Welding and basic metal fabrication skills (considered as an asset). What's in it for you? Requirements

Requires a technical certificate, vocational diploma, or HND/BTS in construction equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, electromechanics, diesel mechanics, or a related field, plus 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience. Candidates must hold a Category B driving licence, with Category C preferred, and be able to interpret technical schematics and use diagnostic equipment; welding and basic metal fabrication are assets.
