PSA Appraisal works closely with lenders, insurers, brokers, and property owners to deliver reliable reports that meet regulatory and industry standards. Role Description This full-time role as a Real Estate Appraisal Technician involves supporting the end-to-end appraisal process for a variety of properties. On a day-to-day basis, the technician gathers and verifies property data, reviews market information, and assists in preparing valuation reports for financing, insurance, and sale/purchase purposes. The role includes coordinating with appraisers and clients, organizing documentation, and ensuring that all information is complete and consistent with internal guidelines. The technician may also perform preliminary analyses, update databases, track appraisal requests, and contribute to advisory projects under the supervision of senior team members. Consistent communication, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and compliance standards are essential in this remote position. Qualifications Experience or education related to real estate, property valuation Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market data, property information, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency with standard office software and databases; familiarity with real estate appraisal or GIS tools is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally. High level of accuracy, organization, and time management Ability to collaborate with appraisers, clients, and internal teams while maintaining a service-oriented approach. Understanding of lending, insurance, or real estate transaction processes is considered an advantage. Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant appraisal standards and regulations.
