HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: You will be responsible for inspecting and assessing damaged or worn tires on vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires. Please note that this is a contract position. THE HOURLY WAGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $19.96. FINAL COMPENSATION WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON RELEVANT SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND INTERNAL EQUITY. As a Tire Technician, you will: * Repair, balance, remove and install tires * Shunt vehicles from plants to workshops * Process inventory and label tires into storage trailers * Filling out required paperwork for vehicle documentation * Comply with all safety procedures by taking an active approach to accident prevention * Assist mechanics with other workshop duties as needed * May need to complete other duties as required and assigned by management About you: * Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm * Highly motivated and able to work well independently * Physically able to carry out the duties of the position such as lifting tires and continuous movement throughout the shift * Strong attention to detail and excellent time management & customer service skills * Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing * Professionalism to emphasize the customers “Respect for the individual”

Requirements

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and be able to lift tires and remain active throughout the shift. The role calls for motivation, independent work, attention to detail, time management, customer service, clear communication, and professionalism; Canadian work experience is not required.
