Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 5 years or more or equivalent experience Work setting Consulting engineering company Tasks Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications Estimate costs and materials Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Computer and technology knowledge MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Word Area of specialization Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Team player Values and ethics Screening questions Do you have experience working in this field?
