What You’ll Be Doing: * Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials * Assemble and fit complex parts and sub‑assemblies for custom automation equipment * Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems into machinery * Fabricate and machine basic components as required * Conduct testing and perform adjustments to ensure equipment meets specifications * Support machine debug, integration, and commissioning activities * Coordinate with electricians and PLC programmers during machine builds * Train customers, maintenance, and operators on equipment and safety procedures * Verify part conformance using precision measuring instruments * Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for manufacturability * Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas What We’re Looking For: * Diploma or equivalent technical training or relevant experience * 5+ years of experience in automation, machine building, or millwright work * Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Bonus Points If You Have: * Machining experience * Experience with rigging and lifting techniques * Exposure to full machine build and commissioning environments * Familiarity with MS Office tools How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you! The Millwright-Machine Builder is responsible for assembling, fitting, and integrating complex mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for custom automation equipment. They will also conduct machine testing, debugging, and commissioning while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in automation or machine building and possess strong mechanical assembly and blueprint reading skills. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems are required.
