We're seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Technician to join our team at Kal Tire on Yellowhead Trail, in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure performance and uptime. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance. Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment. Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks. Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team. Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks. Qualifications Fully licensed as a Heavy Duty Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified. A valid driver’s license. Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
