We feed up to 50,000 head annually and are driven by one goal: “To grow food better and enrich the lives of our people.” Core Values Teamwork | Respect | Positive Attitude | Adaptable | Dependable The Role As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping feedlot equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, servicing, and mechanical support. The Bigger Picture What you do every day helps reduce downtime, support feedlot operations, and keep our equipment running reliably across all Kasko locations. What You’ll Do Assist with diagnosing basic mechanical issues and support repairs on feedlot equipment • Perform daily servicing and preventative maintenance on feed trucks, loaders, and other equipment • Maintain accurate service logs using MaintainX • Monitor equipment for wear and potential mechanical concerns • Operate equipment safely and assist feeding teams as needed • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop and tools • Follow all company health and safety procedures • Support overall facilities and equipment operations as needed What You Bring Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently • Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Basic computer and communication skills • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Previous mechanical or lube technician experience preferred • Valid driver’s license required (Class 1 or 3 is an asset) Work Schedule Typically, Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts • Some weekend work and occasional on-call hours required • Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments Why Join Kasko? What you’ll do
The technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repair of feedlot equipment to reduce downtime. Key tasks include maintaining service logs and ensuring the safety and efficiency of feed trucks and loaders.
Requirements
Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, a positive work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required, with Class 1 or 3 licenses being a preferred asset.
