*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, forming, current building codes, and modern construction practices. We are looking for someone flexible who can cover a variety of different tasks on both the interior and exterior of the home. The ability to operate excavators, jig booms, and other heavy machinery is an asset *Duties* * Frame walls for both interior and exterior construction work * Install flooring, tile, and drywall on interior jobs. Mudding and taping skills are an asset * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction work * Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow. * Siding installation skills are an asset * Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely on-site. * Read blueprints and build structures to the specifications of these plans * Valid working at heights is required *Experience* Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: * Proven experience in framing or related construction fields. * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively are an asset * Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. * Knowledge of drywall, tile, mudding, and taping practices are an asset * We value hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on every job site.
