Job summary

We are looking for a Truck Technician to work out of our fleet maintenance location at 2700 Broadmoor Blvd in Sherwood Park. Kleysen Group supports the apprenticeship program and will support the advancement of your apprenticeship in the HET program. The Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair on the various brands and configurations of company owned trucks as well as trailers which can include (but is not limited to) Kenworth’s, flat deck trailers, step deck trailers, bulk trailers, tankers, yard equipment which include telehandlers, loaders, forklifts, a top loader & pickups. We also have a mobile truck to be able to perform repairs at the Kleysen yard (at 12420-17th street N.E.) when equipment is unable to be brought to the shop. The shift is days Monday – Friday (specific hours of work to be discussed at interview) What we are looking for: * Experience working on Transport Trucks and Trailers, * Trailer Technician (level 2 apprentice or higher) with CVIP for Trailers (or ability/willingness to obtain), * Technician must have own tools and safety boots (see below – annual allowance!), * Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning, * Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time), * Candidates must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available to our site, * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (as this position is safety sensitive it falls under Kleysen’s Controlled Substance Policy). Requirements

Requires experience with transport trucks and trailers, specifically as a Level 2 apprentice or higher with CVIP certification. Candidates must possess their own tools, a vehicle, and be physically fit to lift 50 lbs.
