Water treatment system builder in Surrey, BC requires Mechanical Engineering Technologist for their engineering group. Responsibilities: Assist project managers in project execution tasks. Select and source appropriate equipment, raw materials and control components. Work with guidance of engineering group to build designs and provide cost estimates for water and wastewater plants. Use Autodesk products - mainly Autocad - as needed. Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines. Physical work will be required, must be able to lift 50lbs. Perform work as a project team member as assigned by the Engineering Manager. Other tasks may be assigned by management, travel to job sites may be required Thorough knowledge of design procedures, specifications, and engineering software.
