The Senior IT Technician role will allow you to play a key role in providing technology support to both store and corporate teams, ensuring business continuity and the reliability of critical systems. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and application support to users. Support operations related to enterprise systems. Independently diagnose and resolve issues related to workstations, software, peripherals, and in-store equipment. Install, configure, and maintain IT and operational equipment (POS terminals, computers, printers, etc.). Respond quickly to critical incidents to minimize impacts on sales and the customer experience. Manage support requests through a ticketing system and ensure thorough follow-up. Document interventions, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base. Manage user accounts and access in accordance with security standards. Keep equipment inventory up to date. Apply and enforce cybersecurity best practices in a retail environment. Escalate complex issues while ensuring proactive ownership and follow-up. Recommend improvements to support processes, tools, and methods within a retail environment. Qualifications 5 to 8 years of experience in technical support, including significant experience in a retail environment. College diploma in Computer Science (DEC). Excellent knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive). Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in the field. Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and a professional approach. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple interventions simultaneously. Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, in order to ensure follow-up with various stakeholders across the country.
