We’re looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined Marine Technician to join our team in Whitefish, Ontario. If you enjoy working with your hands, building, repairing, and being around boats, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, team-driven environment. This is a full-time role with strong potential for future opportunities. What You’ll Do Build side consoles, full windshield boats, deck boats, pontoons, and trailers for wholesale Rig boats for Legend Factory Stores (standard and retail builds) Perform hull repairs and pre-delivery adjustments Identify and complete warranty work Assist with seasonal services, including shrink wrapping and winterizations Support hull swaps to maintain efficient shop workflow Help with setup and teardown of local and regional boat shows Work closely with retail and service teams to meet production goals Maintain a high level of quality and safety in all tasks Keep your workspace clean and organized What You Bring Must-have: Experience using hand and power tools Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment Ability to read and follow instructions, production documents, and safety guidelines Physically capable of lifting, bending, and being on your feet most of the day Nice to have: Previous marine or mechanical experience Boating knowledge or interest in the marine industry You are someone who: Enjoys hands-on, detail-oriented work Is motivated, reliable, and a self-starter Takes pride in quality workmanship Prioritizes safety in everything you do Communicates effectively with team members Compensation & Perks $22–$26/hour (based on experience) Ongoing training through Legend and Mercury programs Supportive, team-oriented work environment Free on-site fitness centre Company events and team celebrations Live the Legend Program – opportunities to get out on the water Two weeks of annual vacation with Flex Vacation options Comprehensive medical, dental, life, and disability benefits after 6 months Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan with company-matched contributions after 6 months About Legend Boats Legend Boats is a leading Canadian manufacturer of aluminum, deck, and pontoon boats built for life on the water.
