Oakville, ON | Shop & Field Service Across GTA & Southwestern Ontario Do you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, solving problems in the field, and working with equipment that helps keep people safe? Levitt-Safety is looking for an SCBA Technician to join our Oakville team. In this role, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), breathing air compressors, cylinders, fall protection equipment, and other critical life safety systems. You'll split your time between our shop and customer sites throughout Southern Ontario. What You'll Do Inspect, test, service, and repair SCBA equipment and breathing air systems Perform cylinder inspections, testing, filling, and maintenance Conduct annual flow testing and fit testing Complete service calls at customer locations across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario Maintain accurate service records and inventory using mobile technology Work directly with customers to provide exceptional service and support Follow all safety, COR, and ISO procedures What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with SCBA equipment, compressors, industrial equipment, or similar mechanical systems Basic electrical knowledge Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and mobile devices Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Ability to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, criminal background, and ongoing compliance screening Why Join Levitt-Safety? $55,000–$62,000 salary, based on experience and qualifications Monday–Friday schedule with paid vacation, benefits, and overtime potential Company-paid training, certifications, tools, and travel expenses Annual profit-sharing opportunity Comprehensive benefits package, including RRSP matching Variety of shop and field work with a company service vehicle Independent work supported by an experienced team Opportunity to work with industry-leading life safety and respiratory protection equipment while helping keep workers and first responders safe.
