Whether you’re experienced or have some hands-on exposure and a willingness to learn, we’ll support you with training and certifications to grow your skills. In this role, you will: Inspect, service, and install fire extinguishers and facility safety equipment (first aid kits, eyewash stations, emergency lighting, etc.) Perform low-pressure hydro testing Support shop operations including filling CO₂ & nitrogen cartridges, dry chemical cylinders, and extinguishers Gain exposure to additional services such as fall protection inspection, gas detection and audiometric calibration, SCBA, and fit testing Represent Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner to our customers, delivering high-quality service onsite What You Bring We’re open to candidates with varying levels of experience - if you have some exposure to fire protection, mechanical work, or safety equipment and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you. You will need to: Lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted Work comfortably in confined spaces and at heights (including ladders and elevated walkways) You will also play an active role in maintaining a strong safety culture by participating in regular safety meetings, following safe work practices, and proactively identifying and addressing hazards. This role models safe behaviors, collaborates closely with the Quality team to uphold service standards, and contributes to incident prevention and continuous improvement in safety performance.
