Lift Schools is looking for a Lead Science Technician to join our team and help bring practical lessons to life. About The Role This is a great chance to support our Science teaching staff and students in practical lessons. You will help prepare materials, look after equipment and make sure our labs are safe and ready for learning. Your work will help improve attainment in Science and create a positive learning experience for every student. Key responsibilities Help teachers prepare practical lessons and set up equipment safely Guide students on how to use materials and equipment safely Keep track of resources and order supplies when needed Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on equipment Support health and safety standards and conduct risk assessments Help with projects, events and displays that celebrate student achievements We are looking for someone who You will have GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) and A level or BTEC qualifications in a Science subject. You will have experience using and maintaining equipment, and you will be comfortable working with IT and specialist tools. Can you work well as part of a team and stay calm when plans change?
