The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll handle vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, as well as assist with minor body work. You’ll contribute to a safe and efficient shop environment and help keep our fleet running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Conduct road tests following safe driving practices Assist with minor body work, including removal and installation of components such as bumpers, fenders and doors Maintain accurate service records and documentation Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support fleet maintenance operations and contribute to team success Qualifications Red Seal Certificate in Automotive Service Technician Minimum of five years of automotive service experience Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, fuel, ignition, emission systems, drivetrain components, and HVAC systems Experience reading automotive schematics and using diagnostic tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities Strong time management and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comply with workplace safety standards, including the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record At Lordco Auto Parts, we are committed to fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and prioritizes inclusion in every aspect of our organization.
