Job Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB: Immediate, open position $33.53 - $37.26 per hour Completion of high school and post – secondary education in Engineering. Min. 2-year technician level. Minimum one year of previous experience in manufacturing environment required Knowledge of automotive assembly process and equipment required Good communication skills (both written and spoken) Willingness to go above and strive for continuous improvement Vision cameras programming experience Controls programming (PLC, Python, Ignition) experience is an asset AutoCAD experience is an asset Must be quality minded, safety conscious and reliable. Must be self-motivated and have ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills MAIN DUTIES Owns Implementation of vision-based error proofing plan - Determines requirements by working with vendors and/or internal resources - Ensures cameras incorporated into table/fixture designs - Installation and programming of cameras - Validation of camera programs - Support maintenance through life of program should any issues arise Provides feedback into standardized work and/or creates SWI as required Support process flow/FMEA development activities, plant layout updates and equipment run off activities Provide support to Industrial Engineer, Nesting installation, HD protection, supports new area setup Awareness, Unity, Empowerment At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
